Mike was born August 14, 1950 in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Harry and Eleanor (Rosofsky) Nadler.
He graduated from Mason City High School. He received Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Marketing as well as a Masters of Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Iowa. He was a lifelong Hawkeye fan, but became a Cyclone fan once in Ames.

He is survived by his children, Evan and wife, Lauren Nadler of Deerfield Beach, FL, Amy Nadler of Chicago, IL, brothers, James Nadler of Dallas, TX, Barry and wife, Andrea Nadler of Ames, IA, nieces and nephews, Erin Emery of Ames, IA Sarah Nadler of Chicago, IL, Benjamin Nadler of Brooklyn, NY, Jonas Nadler of Los Angeles, CA, Susan Brown Siegel , Andrew Brown and Jordan Brown, all of Boca Raton, FL, Joshua Brown, Ryan Brown and Abby Brown, all of Chicago, IL .

Mike started his career working for the Govenor's Committee for the Mentally and Physically Disabled in Des Moines, Iowa. He then went into the furniture industry where he worked as an executive at Browns Furniture and Designs in Boca Raton, Florida and then the Executive Vice President of Marketing for Philip Reinisch Company in Chicago. Mike also started one of the earliest cell phone companies in the United States in 1995, Transamerica Communications Company, which he then sold during the early years of consolidation of cell phone providers. Mike had a more simple life toward the end of his career working in transportation at HIRTA and Dunham Transportation in Ames, Iowa. The many mentally and physically handicapped people he helped at HIRTA gave him great delight.

Mike was an extremely talented musician. In high school he was an All-State baritone player. He was a member of the Iowa Gold Singers at the University of Iowa. Mike was also a member of the nationally recognized Barbershop Quartet called the River City Delegation, which appeared on the Today show with Barbara Walters. The personal letter received from Meredith Willson, the famous composer of the Music Man, was donated by Mike to the Music Man Museum in Mason City, Iowa.

Mike was best known by his family and friends for his warm and caring personality. His laugh and sense of humor was always his calling card. He always enjoyed meeting new people and tried his best to make them feel comfortable. The hours he spent laughing, singing, and talking with family and friends will be the most lasting memory for everyone.

Very saddened to read of Mike's passing, albeit years later. I'd like to add a brief tribute to my high school friend and fellow MCHS symphonic band member. Mike's sense of humor and positive demeanor will be remembered and missed by all of us. He was a special kind of person.

CandleSo very sad to see Mike has passed at such an early age. We all liked Mike in high school and remember him playing in the band! My parents, Keith and Madonna Rozen were friends with Mike's parents as well. My sincere condolences to the Nadler family.

Working an ISU bowl game in Shreveport, LA with the Nadler Bros was quite a memorable experience. Mike stood out as the kind, patient and polite brother. We had a lot of laughs at that bowl game! He was a gentle soul who had a soft spot for people. I know he touched many people's lives and will be greatly missed. My sympathies to the Nadler Families.
