Simply put, Bill was a good guy. Those who knew him were happy to be touched in a wonderfully positive way by him. Although we never saw him often enough because of physical distance our times together were very enjoyable. He will be missed by all.

I am very sorry to hear of Bills passing. I worked with Bill for a number of years at Marion Mixers. During that time I had come to know him as a very intelligent and compassionate man and considered him a good friend. He and I had a kind of competition, coming up with famous quotes for different situations at work. I'll always remember when Bill and Sue stopped by with cheese and a bottle of wine because we had given them asparagus and some other veggies. We had a nice visit that summer day. I learned a lot from Bill both technically and worldly. He taught me that every day is a Holiday and life is a special occasion... We compared notes about that on the phone quite often. He will be missed by many...

Bill, my brother-in-law, husband of my late sister, Sue (Wyrick), was her knight in shining armor. They each dealt with life threatening issues, handled them admirably, and indeed lived many years with priorities in order. They enjoyed friends, concerts, lectures, worship, and knew how to appreciate the gift of life. His care for her, and hers for him, a model to be admired. Denice, your family, each one, an apple to his eye, and heart. May you be comforted by the strength of Divine Spirit. Your life was blessed by his presence, as was his by yours. RIP Bill, you were a church man as well as a workman in the field. My honor to have been in your world. Godspeed.

Wonderful man, top notch neighbor. We will miss him sorely. He was especially kind to us and to our dog who would bark to get his attention through his kitchen window. When he would come down to our fence to talk to her and pet her, she loved it. Rest peacefully, Mr. Anderson.
